Dear PPS96-97 People,

********** Introductory BioMOO Meeting **********

PPS Base, 16:00 GMT, Wed 23 Oct 1996

I will be holding an introductory meeting in the PPS Base in BioMOO on
Wednesday 23 Oct at 16:00 GMT. The purpose of this meeting will be to
introduce the concept of this virtual reality communication environment.
You will learn how to move around the environment and communicate with other
course participants - students, tutors and consultants.

Later in the course BioMOO will be used for discussions about the course
material and the assignments, and for specialist seminars from experts.

To find out more about MOOs, and BioMOO in particular, see
http://www.cryst.bbk.ac.uk/PPS2/technology/MOO.html and
http://bioinformatics.weizmann.ac.il/BioMOO/

You can attend this meeting even if you don't have your own "character" in
BioMOO yet - just connect as a guest. I will send some instructions for
connecting in a separate message.

IMPORTANT - the date for this meeting is fixed, but it may be possible to
change the time. Please do let me know as soon as possible (by email to
c.sansom@mail.cryst.bbk.ac.uk) if the time of this meeting is inconvenient
for you, and we'll see what we can do.

I hope to meet as many of you as possible next Wednesday afternoon.

Best wishes,

Dr. Clare Sansom
