In reading the questionaire results one thing that people seem to
complain about are the long response times. The mirrors have really
helped with that. Response times to Birkbeck are often unbearably slow
from here. Having those mirrors up to date has really helped.
There seems to be some problem with Oliver Smart's material
concerning molecular forces at the Bethesda mirror. It shows as raw HTML
on Netscape on a windows based system. All of the other course material
is fine there and I can read it fine on the cryst.bbk.... server.
I don't know enough about networks to debug it further than that but I'm
happy to try anything on my computer to help out.
