Dear PPS96 People,

A few points about the arrangements for the PPS96 course between now and
the end of Term 3 in October:-

(1) We hope that the arrangements for the written examination went
reasonably smoothly for those of you who sat the exam on Monday 16th and
that you found the examination questions interesting! We hope to receive
these back from overseas in the near future from your local centres and
will keep you informed on the progress of the assessment.

(2) Please keep in touch with your group tutors about the progress of your
project dissertations (due in by 25th October). Many of you have
academic support on your project topic at your own institution.
However, if any of you find that you need further discussion on your
project topic, let us know and we will do our best to find you someone
suitable.

(3) Jacky will be on annual leave from today Tuesday 17th to the end of
September. During this time, please could you send any queries about the
PPS96 course to the following people:-

(a) Academic and organisational matters (e.g. course material, exam,
Assignment 2,projects, assessments): Dr David Moss, who is the PPS96
Course Organiser and Chairman of Examiners.

email: d.moss@mail.cryst.bbk.ac.uk

(b) Technical enquiries (e.g. email addresses, submission and Web
mounting of project files): Dr Dave Houldershaw, who is taking over the
technical side of the course from John.

email d.houldershaw@mail.cryst.bbk.ac.uk

(4) After the end of September, Jacky will no longer be acting as PPS96
Course Coordinator (due to the ending of her employment contract).
Please could you direct academic and organisational matters to
David Moss and technical matters to Dave Houldershaw (at the email
addresses given in (3) above) as from 17th September.
Jacky will continue to be the Cytosine Group Tutor for the rest of PPS96.

With best wishes,
PPS96 Coordinators
