The problem that we have is that we haven't got the control of the lists
as we would like. Ideally what vsns-pps-all should be is a
write-few-read-many list. This *may* be possible under listproc but Alan
and I don't manage the list and our sysadm(s) are worked off their feet,
so unless it is trivial, we shan't be able to make major changes. (Any
detailed knowledge of listproc would be welcome.)

This is an area which, in the future, I would see GNA-TECH
developing strongly. There are many subtle nuances of list management
which would be nice and may not be technically possible at present. For
example, I'd sometimes like to post to a list and say "mail this to the
hypermail only" and other times "this is really urgent, everyone must see
it." I'll explore it with GNA-tech.
