The Department of Crystallography, Birkbeck College

As part of the University of London, we strive to perform first class research in structural biology and materials science as well as offering innovative teaching (online and real life) to a broad audience.
		What's new in November 2002: We welcome several new staff members to our department, and of course lots of new students starting one of our courses .
	Our Research has again been rated "5A" in the recent RAE reflecting a world class standard. We participate in the Bloomsbury Centre for Structural Biology.
	Our Courses include the new MSc in Structural Molecular Biology.

We are providing Peptaibol Database and Dichroweb as a service to the scientific community, and we are also hosting the Web Pages of the British Crystallographic Association and of the British Biophysical Society.
