Contribute to Glossary

Please contribute to our glossary - it's very easy. If everyone adds a term, we shall soon have a large and valuable dictionary of biological acronyms, substances, processes and other words.

To enter a term, type it in the entry, using appropriate capitalisation, punctuation and Greek letters (e.g. IL-1-alpha). For searching i punctuation and case will be ignored (e.g. il1alpha). The text should not be more than a short paragraph and can be cut and pasted if possible. It will be assumed to be in HTML (see help).

Please do not deposit material that is copyrighted elsewhere. You retain the copyright to what you have written but also assign it jointly to the sponsors of the course (see the course copyright).

You are encouraged to add URLs to other sources (such as the MEDLINE glossary).
