********** BioMOO Meeting - Web Authoring **********

The next BioMOO meeting for PPS course participants will be held next
Thursday, Feb. 6th, at 16:00 GMT. The main subject of this meeting will
be "Web Authoring". We will go through the main points of writing HTML
and also discuss tips for producing good, content-rich web resources in
the biological sciences. You will find these techniques extremely useful
for your projects later on! If you have any particular questions on this
topic, or any other questions relating to the course so far, please email
me (or the list) beforehand.
John Walshaw, who wrote much of the core course material and coordinated
last year's course, will lead this meeting.
I hope that as many of you as possible will be able to this meeting,
although we do realise that the time will be inconvenient for some of you.
>From experience, late afternoon UK time does seem to be a good time for
most people. The transcript of the meeting will, of course, be made
available afterwards on the web, and we will also email it to you on
request.
