Dear PPS96-97 People,

********** BioMOO Meetings - Section 4 **********

PPS Base, 16:00 GMT, Wed Dec 11 1996
PPS Base, 10:00 GMT, Thu Dec 12 1996

Two meetings for PPS course participants will be held in BioMOO next week.
The main purpose of these meetings will be to discuss Section 4 of the course
material - Protein Synthesis - but we would also be very interested to know
how you are finding the course so far.

Henry Brzeski (Strathclyde University), who wrote the Web material on
Transcription for the course, has agreed to attend both meetings.

I hope that as many of you as possible will be able to attend one or other
of these meetings. (There is absolutely no need to attend both, although you
will of course be very welcome at both!) The times have been chosen to try to
eliminate timezone problems as far as possible, but we do realise that these
times are bound to be inconvenient for some of you. Transcripts of both
meetings will be made available afterwards on the web, and we will also
be able to email them to you (on request).

As the UK is now on GMT I hope! that there will be less confusion about
timezones this time. However, the following might help: typing the word
"time" followed by a recognised timezone abbreviation in BioMOO will give
you the time in "local" (Israeli) time, GMT and the given timezone.

Best wishes,

Dr. Clare Sansom
