compiling problems with RasMol(Mac)

I'm having problems getting all of RasMol's commands to work
effectively. (better late than never I suppose) I have reteived the
version for mac and followed the compiling instructions with ThinkC.
Unfortunately this does not give me full use of all commands. In
particular I seem not to be able to set colours on objects nor retreive
help files for these subjects. For instance if I type "colour *CYS 25
blue" to effect the colour in a papain structure I receive the error
message "unknown or incorrect colour". This happens even if I use the
three component colour command [0,0,255]. I haven't explored any other
commands thinking that it may be an error in compiling. Does anyone
have any hints?
Another odd thing is that if I try to scroll the command window it
moves the protein structure instead. This is annoying since if I call
for a longish help screen I cannot scroll to see it all!
My apologies if these problems are too simple for the bandwidth.
Still plugging away.
