I have a HP Laserjet III (NOT postscript) -- tried to print images
from Rasmol, and got "APPROPRIATE PRINTER NOT AVAILABLE". So I instal-
led a POSTSCRIPT print driver (don't ask me why...) -- and I'm
using PC Windows, by the way. Printed! However, it printed
out the actual TEXT of the postscript file. But, from there I
experimented with several drivers (e.g., HP Inkjet, Quadlaser,
Toshibas, etc., etc.) and many of them worked fine. (Although I
don't actually have those printers -- just installed the driver
and selected the non-existant printer as the default printer!)
Most postscript drivers didn't work, however (they'd print the text).
Don't know how, why, or whatever, but I'm happy I can print now...
