Hi all,

I just thought I'd drop a quick note to let anybody using a
MS-Windows 3.1 based machine for the course that I have most (if not all)
of the Windows viewers they will need. I'd be happy to E-mail them to
anybody that needs them. Below is a list and description of
what I've got:

1) ns16-100.exe : a s.e.a of the latest version of Netscape
(1.0N, IMHO, better than Mosaic for most purposes)
2) mos20a9.exe : a s.e.a. of the latest Mosaic (2.0 alpha 9)
3) mudwin.zip : a compressed MUD client (better than telnet for
doing BIOMOO)
4) pfe.zip : a text editor for large files (simple, good for gopher text viewing)
5) hgoph24.zip : newest (?) HGopher version. Nice program...
6) vmpeg12a.zip : compressed MPEG viewer, easy to use, fast
7) winapps2.zip : compressed archive of internet utility programs
(ping, etc... It has the 0.7 version of Trumpet telnet, a good
program. ((trmptel)))
8) gsview10.zip : compressed Postscript viewer (needs Ghostscript
2.61, which I also have)
9) fp-216.zip : a good virus checker (Jan. version) F-Prot.
10)hw9b3all.zip : an easy HTML editor, HTMLWrit. Lots smaller
than HoTMetaL.
11)psp201.zip : PaintShopPro compressed file
12)acroread.exe : ADOBE ACROBAT READER a s.e.a. for viewing
"portable" data files (I don't know what this is for, but I saw it on a
page for configuring viewers and figured I might as well get it.....)
13) pkunzip.exe : version 2.04g pf the unzip/zip utilities; latest release.

All the above are either FREE- or SHARE-WARE. I have not
changed the content of the archive files from when I received
them. I think all of them have pretty good instructions
included. I can't guarentee any of them, except to say that
they worked for me. Check the readme files for the program
author's comments.

I have a few others (LViewPro, QPeg, etc.) but I've deleted the *.zip
files.... I could probably fined them again if needed.

Please let me know if anybody wants any of the above.
