I am receiveing and maintaining the PPS people
form and page...so needless to say, I'm getting a few
messages every day! I notice some problems with the
form information...maybe someone could help me out with
this. Some form input is filled with strange characters
that don't seem to have anything to do with the
message...such as:
Char read: 3C
Char read: 2F
Char read: 3E
This is my parsing out of the characters message...these
generally occur between the end of one part of the form
and the message part of the form. I also notice that
some systems have a "D" at the end of every line,
(perhaps this is a carriage return marker...my system
uses something different...a combination marker...A D is
a little hard to distinguish from just text unless I do
something special for it. Some systems also do not seem
to handle sending any shifted characters very well
either...I get a 7 for an apostrophe, and other
problems. Does anyone else see this with forms...maybe
I am doing something wrong? Everyone should review
their material for my adjusting of the text...Some comes
through just fine!
About the list...Is it correct that I should not
be sent anything I post? Sometimes I don't really know
if it gets where it's going...Thanks...
