Stereocentre - point (usually atom) in molecular structure, which , if taken
with its nearest non-equal adjoint surroundings, does not coincide with its
mirror image. Most oftenly , sc. are : C with 4 different substituents,
N, B, P - in special cases. May or may not add the property of chirality to
the whole molecule.

Actually the whole term is not a very proper one.
