Thank you for joining the vsns-pps-glossary list. This list
is intended for discussion of all matters relating to the hyper-
glossary.
This will be a very important component of the course, and a very
powerful resource. The glossary will allow cross-referencing
between terms, may include small images, and may be used to
automatically mark up hyper-documents. Considerable data input will
be required to develop the full potential of the glossary technology
that we now have in place.
Our glossary team, comprised of Lesley West and Stefan Sack will
be acting as overall curators. They will be involved in the
discussions on this list.

If you wish to reply, consider whether your reply should be addressed
to the list generally (which happens with the `reply' command) or
whether it may be more appropriate to address your reply to the
originator of the message, and act accordingly.
Be gentle and helpful, remembering that not everybody is a wizard.
Everybody will have access to a browser, so feel free to suggest
URLs that people may find useful.
