Groups already created ?!

Hi there,
I have noticed on BioMOO that there are two group-bulletin board threads.
This must mean that the groups have already been created.
I did not receive any eMail saying that I was part of a certain group.
Is it up to the group head to contact us ?
I checked my eMail archive twice and could not find group creating messages.
I thought that the two first weeks would also be spent getting to know each
other in the groups. Or have I been put in the "B" group for saying such
nasty things about MAGE ? ;-)
