Dear PPS people,

A MINI_ASSIGNMENT

We would dearly like to hear of any further examples that fill in the
gaps in our list of examples of the possible symmetries of protein homo-multimers
in the Symmetry section of the Quaternary Structure chapter, at URL

http://www.cryst.bbk.ac.uk/PPS/course/9_quaternary/symmpics.html

Steve Durbin 1HC1 (sdurbin@carleton.edu) is also interested in the
question of symmetry in protein association, and asks `Does anyone have
a protein that, in the crystal, forms nearly but not quite symmetrical
associations?'

Your participation much appreciated,

Best Regards,

Alan Mills at Birkbeck, for vsns-pps,
