I can recommend VMPEG Lite for Windows users. NCSA also do a good MPEG player
and there is a very extensive listing, reviews and download sites from:

which is part of Stroud's CWSApps List - highly recommended for general WWW
browser and helper application set-up. You can find the lead-in page at:
