.......... Welcome to Term 2 of PPS96! ..........
The 3-hour written examination for the PPS Advanced Certificate will be held
at centres of the London University external division local to where you
live/work on:
MONDAY 16TH SEPTEMBER 1996
At the end of this email there is a registration form for the examination.
If you wish to take the examination you need to apply to do so using this
form. You will not be registered for the examination unless you tell us that
you wish to take it.
Please could you complete the form and return it (even if you do not intend
to take the written examination) by FRIDAY 17TH MAY at the latest.

NOTES: 1. Your local examination centre will require a local examination
fee equivalent to about 50 pounds sterling.
2. You may opt not to take the written examination and to be assessed
on the 2 submitted assignments and the dissertation alone. In that
case you will receive an 'interim certificate'
3. Please help the London University external administration by
stating clearly on the registration form your preferred locality
in terms of : town/city; region; country. If you live in a
small village, please state the nearest reasonable-sized town!
4. We do not yet know the details of where your local centre will be
or the exact time of the examination. We will let you know
as soon as the London University external division has made the
arrangements.
