I apologise - there is going to be a further delay in getting the
assessed assignment for Term 1 to you.
While testing the assignment we have come up against some
problems in the parts requiring the use of graphics and databases. Clearly
all such problems have to be sorted out before we hand the assignment
over to you!
We're not quite sure how many more days' work it will take to solve these
problems, but I anticipate between 2 and 5 days. We intended to allow 4
weeks for you to complete the assignment and we'll still do that, depending
on when we manage to get it out to you.
I will refrain from making the type of excuses familiar to users of British
Rail or London Underground services (UK visitors and residents will know
what I mean!) but I hope that the finalised assignment
will be so problem-free that it will have been worth the delay!!
