She hopes to cover the following areas, time permitting:
1. Brief introduction to molecular evolution and molecular
phylogenetics
2. Impact of molecular data on phylogenetic studies
3. Phylogenetic trees: - their reconstruction (distance matrices,
parsimony, maximum likelihood)
- how reliable are they?
4. New approaches: phylogenetic networks
