Two points that we discussed and will pursue further shortly:-
1) 'SURGERIES' OR TUTORIALS on particular topics: it was suggested that
some consultants might be willing to offer 'surgeries' or tutorials on
particular topics, either in BioMOO or by email. If in BioMOO, these
tutorials should be advertised well in advance so that students can
mail in their questions to the consultant before the meeting.
2) ALL-GROUP BioMOO MEETINGS on particular topics, similar to the
transcription meeting last Friday and the protein assignment meeting
tomorrow, with expert guests. We got a good collection of suggestions
from the meeting and will mail you in more detail about this later
in the week.
*** Meanwhile, please let us know if you are willing to offer either a
tutorial (BioMOO/email) or an all-group BioMOO meeting on a particular
topic.
