Hi, Jacky:
I'll try to BIOMOO with the GUANINE group since I am in
the US.
I've taught an advanced PROTEIN STRUCTURE-FUNCTIONALITY -PREDICTION course
at UIUC for some 14 years+ applied FOOD PHYSICAL CHEMISTRY IN PROCESSING
(FS401).

1. My offer as a consultant of PPS'96 was/is on the NMR and
Neutron /X-ray studies of Proteins, amino acids, and Membranes/Lipids. Our FS401
course at UIUC has a two-volume, recent TEXTBOOK, and other resources on
the Web.
A number of selected chapters from our TEXTBOOK are now available on the
Web not only to FS401 STUDENTS AT UIUC BUT ALSO TO PPS96 students, or any
other students who
require it-- no password necessary to access or print these chapters. The
chapters are in the
public domain as they were written by US government employees (research
scientists).
The relevant URL's for these resources are given below:

http://www.ag.uiuc.edu/~fs401/FS401Home.html

http://www.ag.uiuc.edu/~fs401/FS-401-96-UPDATE.html

http://www.ag.uiuc.edu/~fs401/ICB-Homepg2.html

http://www.ag.uiuc.edu/~fs401/LocalHome2PageINTLSciEngN.html >>>

2. PPS96 Students who need access to additional resources in
FS401--related to PPS96
can request from me password access by emailing to :

>> i-baianu@uiuc.edu >>
In addition they will be able to place their assignment/project files(
fairly generous sizes, like
250--400 kbytes ) at the following URL:

http://www.ag.uiuc.edu/~fs401/students/

AFTER OBTAINING THEIR PASSWORD from me by email.

3. Our research group at UIUC has a significant amount of experience with
determination of protein-protein interactions by NMR, determination of
protein and polysaccharide hydration by NMR and neutron diffraction, SAXS
of enzymes and proteins in solution, Molecular Dynamics of Ionic
Solutions, Amino Acids and Proteins, and Molecular Modeling . Will be
glad to wotk with PPS96 students who are interested in one or more of
these areas.

4. I would appreciate your help with distributing this message to the
PPS96 students.

Look forward to hearing from you all, and the students.

Regards,
