the 3x3x3 cube model allows for positions with from 1 to 4 contacts. how
does this compare to 'real' numbers derived from 'real' protein structures?

the mean # of contacts per position seems to be 2 for the 3x3x3 cube.
anyone have the numbers at hand for a protein?
