multiple alignment

Description

A Multiple Alignment of a set of biosequences is a rectangular arrangement, where each row consists of one sequence padded by gaps, such that the columns highlight similarity/conservation between positions. An Optimal Multiple Alignment is one that has optimal score, i.e. the highest degree of similarity, or the lowest cost.
